Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck providing great height and versatility. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the person using it to maintain a high degree of control while raising the load to great heights. Regular forklifts could not move the cargo towards and away from the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually utilized in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is necessary.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It comes with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specifically to lift staff. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a strap or chain that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
