The Taylor Machine Work's TX4 Series of forklifts are 4WD and specially designed for one specific task: transporting material in the harshest and most difficult setting you could imagine. Some of the terrain these types of machines work in includes: snow, mud or rough or uneven environments. The TX4 delivers unparalleled performance and has become the leading alternative for many industries.
The TX4 is not a front loader chassis with a fork attachment, similar to the more comparable articulated forklift units. Instead, it is an articulated material handler completely and specifically designed and engineered by Taylor Machine Works.
Offered nowadays, there are 3 different load capacities. The TX4 unit is an articulated 4-wheel drive forklift built to out-perform the front-end loader lift trucks. Usually, to be able to achieve the same capacity from a front-end loader or lift truck, the forklift or front-end loader will have to be bigger than the 132 inch wheelbase that comprises the TX4 Series. The TX4 Series articulated 4WD lift trucks are true rough terrain forklifts. They were designed to have no deration in full turns. Additionally, this specific model comes direct from the factory with 11 feet of vertical lift.
Among the most powerful, very durable and highly maneuverable high-capacity rough terrain lift trucks offered nowadays in the wood products industry are the Taylor Machine Works' TXB Series of rough terrain lift trucks. The only manufacturer in the United States who designs and makes rough terrain lift trucks with 18,000 pounds to 30,000 pound rated capacities is Taylor Machine Works. Thus, they have become the leader in this specific field within North America and have earned a solid reputation in this specific niche.
The TXB series of forklifts all come with a Tier Certified Cummins electronic turbocharged charge air to air or after-cooled diesel engine. Several of the basic engine features include electronic diagnostic maintenance and transmission/engine protection systems, improved fuel economy, water/fuel separator and reduced overall emissions.
The TXB series uses a modulated, 3-speed transmission, fully reversing powershift transmission. This transmission is also outfitted with a separate cooler for air-to-oil, electric roll shift control and inching ability.
Taylor has built numerous machinery to handle the toughest settings. These machinery have the capability to work at their optimum levels within several of the most difficult applications. They are tough and reliable and built to last and finish the task in an efficient and timely way.
