The narrow aisle lift truck has been made to work in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the aisle width. Yale produces the single reach NR and double reach NDR models which are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has different stance and control handle configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider range of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations like the choice of fore, the aft stance, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with strong acceleration and deceleration. It has been designed for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of loads transported in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: To greatly improve the overall throughput and production, Yale provides industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific function which maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: In order to really reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable so as to lessen operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also known as order pickers. These machines are designed for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the load and the operator to its required height. This height could be more than 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are usually guided by rail or wire when used in very narrow aisle applications.
