The S-boom telescopic booms by Genie have been equipped with a reach ranging from 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and an ability to work in heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Telescoping booms have a much greater range of reach horizontally as opposed to other kinds of aerial work platforms. Genie telescopic booms are engineered with consideration to being able to access confined areas during industrial and construction jobs. They are also recognized for their ability to maneuver through a job site quickly and with great drive speed and traction. The platform turns 160° hydraulically and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators and are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables offer easy, quick positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 unit comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This particular model can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks that were unreachable by typical jibs before. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 unit gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This feature enables over and up reaching tasks to be done with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System made by Genie allows for time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms platform has to either be lifted or lowered without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be raised fully simultaneously. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features lessens the time needed for users to ascend and descend, increasing both productivity and efficiency.
