Engineered for Safety
Yale has a great history for providing safe lift trucks which are suitable for a range of uses. The ability to design and produce units for better safety comes from the new technology which is available in the material handling business and the company's experience.
In their newest designs, Yale has started integrating newly available technologies. Some of the new technologies that are on the market are initially applied to forklift trucks and after that proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company conducts various controlled field tests and reliability development in order to ensure their products are very safe.
To be able to improve overall safety, Yale has engineered and developed lots of new features, that have been integrated on lots of models including:
Operator Compartment Controls and Ergonomics
The ergonomics in the operator compartment as well as the controls are made with state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to guarantee that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions as well as fatigue. These extra comforts help to increase overall productivity.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Adjustable operator controls enable the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machinery user friendly, regardless of who is utilizing it. Prior to starting their shift, the operator can make sure she or he is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
Yale's hydraulic system operation referred to as the Operator Presence System prevents the use of the equipment if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on trucks that have IC engines.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the liquid propane gas tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the natural handling position of the operator making the tank easier to change.
